Fairhunt Summer Camp

Thank you for your interest in Fairhunt's summer riding camp. We have a small specialized facility geared toward young riders 5 to 14 years of age. We supply the ponies or children can bring or board their own. Riders of all levels are encouraged to participate and will be comfortably matched to the pony of their ability. Campers will learn how to prepare for a show such as our VHSA as well as braiding, clipping and proper turn-out.

We will be offering a sleep-over at Feather Ridge Farm at Carter's Bridge. We will pack and arrive on Monday after our 2 week July session and stay until Tuesday, when campers will be picked up at noon. We will have acres of rolling hills to hike in and camp by the Hardware River, plus swimming in the new pond that has been created over the winter.

Please remember to wear comfortable clothing with closed toed shoes that have a heel. If you do not have a hard hat we can provide one until you have time to purchase your own. We strongly support Scottsville Saddlery in Scottsville.

Drivers needed for both of these trips. Please see Susan.
